An individual undertaking this course should consider the following to successfully participate:
Physical capability to perform practical tasks, including assisting with medication
Numeracy skills to calculate and check dosages, expiry dates, and basic measurements
Reading skills to interpret medication instructions and client information
Communication skills to interact with clients, explain procedures, and obtain consent
Digital skills to access and complete online learning and assessment tasks
Online study requirements:
Students must have access to a computer, smartphone, tablet, or other electronic device with internet access to complete the online learning and assessment components.
